Leadership and Yoga by @shawnakru is the go-to hub of interviews and episodes for yoga teachers and conscious entrepreneurs. Shawna speaks on creativity, spirituality, confidence, and presence through conversations with top teachers, artists, creators, and thought leaders.

She also creates captivating musical and poetic solo episodes. Over the past 3 years, Shawna has lovingly grown an intimate, niche following of fellow yoga instructors interested in impact, personal growth & business, into a major nucleus for self-realization.

She enjoys interviewing “non-yogis,” secret yogis, and of course yoga teachers. Shawna speaks to the hearts of yoga teachers and creatives alike and believe yoga can be found in everything.

here’s to using our voices to raise consciousness.

NEW EPISODES EVERY WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY. 〰️

i do yoga, and interview people.

Almost a decade ago, I gave a speech at high school graduation about the impact that we have on others even though I was terrified of public speaking. I memorized it, and delivered it flawlessly, but I refused to listen to the recording. I was scared that it wasn’t as impactful as I hoped it would be, or that I would be embarrassed by how I sounded.

7 years later I remembered that speech and I finally listened out of curiosity. And when I listened at last, I was so inspired by what I said, that I thought, “I should have a podcast.” I’ve never missed a week since then. Great gifts are hidden in the shadows, if only we dare to look at them.

  • Interviews with leaders who inspire us by showing us what's possible, how to create meaningful change and impact, and how to put ourselves into a state of expansion.

  • Deep dive bedside chats. Musical poetry episodes that are rooted deeply in nature, simplicity and the magic of life, that feature themes like the Gene Keys. Solo episodes reconnect you with your sense of the magic of life and your ability to raise your consciousness. For you to really be alive, connected, healthy and with enough energy to follow your dream. That is my mission. That is my dream.
